This brand was started by a celebrity group including George Clooney and Randy Gerber.  If you don't know Randy, “Google him.”  He may be best known for being Cindy Crawford's better half, but he's got quite the history as an entrepreneur and as a fellow business owner, I respect the heck out of that and more importantly, of his accomplishments.  In short, he's worth about $100 million and owns a series of liquor lounges and bars.  How's that for a having fun while you work?

Like myself, these A-listers craved a tequila that didn't need a lime or salt.  That got my attention right away – who doesn't like a smooth, crisp tequila?

Now, there are good reviews, and bad reviews, about this brand.  I'm on the “pro” side, and love the marketing, but more importantly, the taste. It's distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, like many other brands.  While it may not have the presentation of a Don Julio Real bottle, it's going with a more authentic look and feel.

Aged seven months, this has hints of caramel and cocoa, as the website likes to explain.  I taste the caramel in a very bold manner personally.  Cocoa, while not super present and in your face, is definitely there.  Your mileage may vary, but that's my quick hit after sipping this recently.  The barrels used are American White Barrels.
